NERC Station Day 2026

The annual NERC Arctic Research Station ‘Open Day’ will take place on Monday 26th January 2026, at the British Antarctic Survey in Cambridge and online, using Zoom meeting.

For people who have registered to attend in person, registration, with coffee and tea will be open from 1030. The meeting will start at 1045 and finish at 1430.

If you are a current user of the NERC Arctic Station in Ny-Ålesund, or if you are considering applying to use the Station in the future or just interested in finding out more about the Station, then we strongly recommend attending this informative event and meeting some of the Station team. The Station provides excellent facilities and accommodation for researchers from across all UK universities, research institutes and other recognised organisations, and their international collaborators, wanting to carry out a range of environmental research which includes ecological, glacial/periglacial geomorphology, hydrology and atmospheric chemistry and marine research.
