The International Arctic Science Committee (IASC) has announced the release of the Fourth International Conference on Arctic Research Planning (ICARP IV) Final Outcomes Report, together with the seven Research Priority Team (RPT) reports.
These documents were presented during the Arctic Science Summit Week 2026 (ASSW 2026) in Aarhus, Denmark, on 26 March 2026, and are now available online.
The ICARP IV process brought together a broad and inclusive community, including Arctic researchers, Indigenous Peoples, policy-makers, local residents, and other stakeholders from all nations engaged in Arctic research. Participants worked collaboratively to identify the most pressing knowledge gaps and research priorities for the coming decade, and to propose strategies and approaches to effectively address these needs.
