Preparing for the International Polar Year (IPY) 2032–33

The next International Polar Year (IPY) will take place in 2032–33 and will bring together researchers, Indigenous Peoples, policymakers, educators and communities from around the world to advance knowledge of the Arctic and Antarctic regions. The UK Arctic and Antarctic Partnership (UKAAP) serves as the UK’s National Committee for IPY and is helping to coordinate UK engagement and planning activities.
