Objectives

The main objectives of the Arctic Office are:

  1. to support UK Arctic researchers in establishing links to international collaborators and in accessing polar infrastructure and logistical support.
  2. managing the Canada - UK collaborative agreement on research and logistical support in the polar regions.
  3. facilitating opportunities for the involvement of UK science and polar resources in the Arctic as the region grows in international significance.
